Advice from our HoReCa Specialist

Charlotte Whitfield

Country Manager United Kingdom · Verified HoReCa Specialist

  • ✓
Ideal venue & placement: Space stanchion posts between 1.4 m and 1.8 m apart to achieve a graceful drape on Classic velvet/twisted ropes or a taut, level line on retractable belt barriers.
  • ✓
Service autonomy & durability: Fit an A4 sign holder onto the lead stanchion post at the entrance to display 'Please wait to be seated' or a QR code for your menu.
  • ✓
Specialist table pairing tip: When reconfiguring retractable belt barriers, guide the webbing back into the cassette by hand rather than releasing it abruptly to protect the braking mechanism.
— Kind regards, Charlotte — Manchester.

Securit® Retractable Stanchion — Chrome Queue Post — Securit® — In use
In situ — table service

Key points

  • Retractable nylon belt
  • Weighted base for stability
  • Chrome-finished metal post
  • Complete set, ready to use

In your venue

Guide the queue, set the tone — one clean retractable line.

At the host stand of a busy brasserie or hotel lobby, this chrome stanchion marks where the line begins and keeps arriving guests calm and ordered. Pull the 205cm black nylon belt across, and the wait suddenly looks deliberate rather than chaotic. And to keep service flowing, it pairs naturally with Ropes & belts.

Securit® Retractable Stanchion — Chrome Queue Post — Securit®

  • Retractable nylon belt

a 205cm black band extends and recoils smoothly, so you can open or close a lane in seconds without moving heavy hardware.

  • Weighted base for stability

a concrete-cored socle keeps the post planted at 10.4 kg, standing firm against passing foot traffic.

  • Chrome-finished metal post

the stainless steel and silver finish at 100cm rises to a tidy, professional height that suits both a restaurant entrance and a reception hall.

  • Complete set, ready to use

supplied as a full kit with post and base, so it's deployable straight out of the box.

The detail that matters

The combination of a metal post, nylon belt and concrete-weighted base makes this a sturdy indoor crowd control solution — built to be repositioned daily without wobble.

A Securit® product distributed by Montandor, covered by the 2-year legal warranty and shipped from France.

How does this Securit® hospitality equipment help increase restaurant and café turnover?+

By strengthening menu visibility at reception, spotlighting high-demand daily specials on every table, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

What is the difference between Classic rope posts and retractable belt stanchions?+

Classic posts feature a 4-way reception ring for clip-on velvet or twisted ropes (sold separately or in sets), whereas belt stanchions include a built-in 200 cm retractable nylon webbing cassette.

Will the heavy bases scratch hardwood, marble, or tiled hospitality floors?+

How can I check the shipping options and rates for my venue address?+

Official Montandor Andorra distribution. Live shipping options and rates for your delivery address are calculated in real time at checkout, with free shipping above the cart threshold.

Do you offer volume tier discounts or custom quotes for multi-site hospitality groups?+

Yes, automatic unit, inner-pack, and master-carton tier pricing is displayed directly on the product page, and our hospitality specialist prepares tailored volume quotes in chat.
