Advice from our HoReCa Specialist

Charlotte Whitfield

Country Manager United Kingdom · Verified HoReCa Specialist

  • ✓
Ideal venue & placement: Position your A-board or menu stand at a slight angle to pedestrian flow at your entrance so guests approaching from either direction can read your daily offer effortlessly.
  • ✓
Service autonomy & durability: Keep A-board copy focused on 3 to 4 high-impact lines written with broad 7–15 mm Securit® markers so the headline and price read clearly from a distance.
  • ✓
Specialist table pairing tip: On illuminated LED menu stands, use the magnetic backing and lockable front frame to swap printed A4 menu sheets in under a minute before service starts.
— Kind regards, Charlotte — Manchester.

Securit® A-Frame Sandwich Board for Restaurants — Securit® — In use
In situ — table service

Key points

  • Lacquered hevea wood frame
  • Generous chalk surface
  • Steady on its feet
  • Solid, considered build

In your venue

The handsome A-frame that stops passers-by mid-stride.

Set it on the pavement by your café door at opening time and let the mahogany frame do the talking — today's specials chalked up where the morning crowd can't miss them. By lunch you've rewritten it twice, and the terrace fills with people who were only passing through. And to keep service flowing, it pairs naturally with Chalk markers for signage.

Securit® A-Frame Sandwich Board for Restaurants — Securit®

  • Lacquered hevea wood frame

built from hard wood with a mahogany finish, giving this sandwich board the warm, polished look a premium restaurant front deserves.

  • Generous chalk surface

a 580 × 1150 mm writing panel gives you room for menus, prices and a daily flourish, easily wiped and rewritten as the day moves on.

  • Steady on its feet

at 16.9 kg and standing 1350 mm tall, this A-frame sign holds its ground on a busy terrace without tipping in the bustle.

  • Solid, considered build

hard wood, melamine resin and metal combine for a sidewalk sign that reads as substantial, not flimsy.

The detail that matters

The melamine resin writing surface is made to be chalked, wiped and chalked again — bring it in or shelter it when the weather turns to keep the lacquered wood looking its best.
