Advice from our HoReCa Specialist

Charlotte Whitfield

Country Manager United Kingdom · Verified HoReCa Specialist

  • ✓
Ideal venue & placement: Prime every new liquid chalk marker by shaking it vigorously for 20 seconds with the cap on, then pressing the nib gently on scrap paper until the ink flows evenly.
  • ✓
Service autonomy & durability: Pair a fine 1–2 mm bullet nib (SMA100) for prices and allergen notes with a 2–6 mm chisel nib (SMA510) or 7–15 mm broad nib (SMA720) for bold daily-special headings.
  • ✓
Specialist table pairing tip: On heavily used boards, spray Securit® Chalkboard Cleaner and wipe with a clean microfiber cloth to lift all pigment residue without ghosting.
— Kind regards, Charlotte — Manchester.

Key points

  • Liquid chalk ink
  • 7–15 mm rectangular tip
  • Bulk-friendly format
  • Made in Japan

In your venue

Bold violet that wipes clean — bought by the box.

Behind the bar or beside the entrance, a deep violet line draws the eye to today's special before a guest has even sat down. With these liquid chalk pens you keep a steady supply for every board in the room, refilled and ready for the next service. And to keep service flowing, it pairs naturally with Slates to write on.

  • Liquid chalk ink

lays down an opaque, vivid violet that reads clean and sharp on dark boards, unlike dusty traditional chalk.

  • 7–15 mm rectangular tip

one nib gives you both fine detail and broad strokes, so a single pen handles headlines and prices alike.

  • Bulk-friendly format

sold to stock up, this is the chalk marker bulk pack that keeps a busy venue writing without running dry mid-shift.

  • Made in Japan

manufactured to a consistent standard for the daily demands of intensive use.

The detail that matters

The ink wipes away with a damp cloth on non-porous surfaces — always test a discreet corner first, as porous or unsealed boards can hold the pigment.

A genuine Securit® marker, distributed by Montandor with a 2-year legal warranty and shipped from France.
