Charlotte Whitfield (Country Manager United Kingdom) — RS-CLRP-CHBU Securit® in Manchester

📍 Victorian Gastro-Pub & Mayfair Terrace — London / Manchester

Advice from our HoReCa Specialist

Charlotte Whitfield

Country Manager United Kingdom · Verified HoReCa Specialist

✓
Ideal venue & placement: Space stanchion posts between 1.4 m and 1.8 m apart to achieve a graceful drape on Classic velvet/twisted ropes or a taut, level line on retractable belt barriers.
✓
Service autonomy & durability: Fit an A4 sign holder onto the lead stanchion post at the entrance to display 'Please wait to be seated' or a QR code for your menu.
✓
Specialist table pairing tip: When reconfiguring retractable belt barriers, guide the webbing back into the cassette by hand rather than releasing it abruptly to protect the braking mechanism.

— Kind regards, Charlotte — Manchester.

Key points

Velvet over a sturdy core
A clear 150 cm span
Chromed end fittings
Light enough to reconfigure

In your venue

Blue velvet, chrome ends — a queue that looks the part.

At the entrance of a busy restaurant or hotel lobby, this rope clips between two posts and instantly tells guests where to wait. The deep blue velvet softens the line of a queue while keeping it orderly, turning a practical barrier into part of your welcome. And to keep service flowing, it pairs naturally with Ropes & belts.

Velvet over a sturdy core
wrapped in blue velvet with metal and stainless steel inside, so it hangs cleanly and feels premium to the touch.
A clear 150 cm span
at 1500 mm long, each rope bridges a comfortable gap between two stanchions for a tidy queue line.
Chromed end fittings
the polished chrome ends connect to your posts and add a crisp, finished detail to the setup.
Light enough to reconfigure
at roughly 840 g, the rope is easy to unclip and move as your floor plan changes.

The detail that matters

The blue velvet finish is designed for the look-and-feel of indoor entrances, lobbies and waiting areas — keep it sheltered to preserve the colour and nap.
