Charlotte Whitfield (Country Manager United Kingdom) — RS-CLRP-GOBU Securit® in Manchester

📍 Victorian Gastro-Pub & Mayfair Terrace — London / Manchester

Advice from our HoReCa Specialist

Charlotte Whitfield

Country Manager United Kingdom · Verified HoReCa Specialist

✓
Ideal venue & placement: Space stanchion posts between 1.4 m and 1.8 m apart to achieve a graceful drape on Classic velvet/twisted ropes or a taut, level line on retractable belt barriers.
✓
Service autonomy & durability: Fit an A4 sign holder onto the lead stanchion post at the entrance to display 'Please wait to be seated' or a QR code for your menu.
✓
Specialist table pairing tip: When reconfiguring retractable belt barriers, guide the webbing back into the cassette by hand rather than releasing it abruptly to protect the braking mechanism.

— Kind regards, Charlotte — Manchester.

In your venue

Velvet rope, golden ends — and a queue that behaves.

At the entrance of a busy bistro on a Saturday night, this 150cm blue velvet rope strings between two posts and turns a restless crowd into an orderly line. Guests instantly understand where to wait, while the soft pile and gold-toned ends keep the look refined rather than functional. And to keep service flowing, it pairs naturally with Ropes & belts.

Soft velvet finish
the blue velvet sleeve gives a warm, upmarket feel that suits a hotel lobby or restaurant entrance better than bare metal.
Gold-toned ends
the clip ends add a polished accent and connect cleanly to your reception posts.
Stainless steel and metal core
beneath the velvet sits a sturdy steel and metal structure built to be handled night after night.
Ready-to-use length
at 1500mm it spans a practical gap between posts, with the whole piece weighing just 0.875kg for easy repositioning.

The detail that matters

The velvet covering is best kept indoors — it stays handsome in a foyer or dining room but isn't intended to sit out in rain and weather.

A genuine Securit® piece distributed by Montandor, covered by the 2-year legal warranty and shipped from France ours.
